REFURBISHMENT SERVICES BY MD ANTHONY
BRECKLAND GROUP - CLADDING REFURBISHMENT, WELHAM GREEN
Construction – All existing roof cladding was stripped from the building and replaced with 115 mm thick composite cladding. The vertical cladding was overclad using single skin cladding and compressed fibreglass insulation, and this was finished off with new flashings and gutters. The replacement of this cladding has refreshed what was a tired and old building into an attractive, new commercial building.
Sustainability – Re-sheeting the roof in 115 mm thick composite panels, and the addition of fibreglass insulation to the walls will reduce energy loss from the building, contributing to lower energy consumption, and thus a more environmentally conscious and economically efficient final product.
FLACK & CHAPMAN - NEWTON FARMS
Construction – The existing cladding was removed from the building, following which new structural steelwork was put into place. Following this, the roof and all vertical elevations were clad in composite panels and finished with new flashings and rainwater goods. Additionally, three new electric roller shutters and 4 new personnel doors were installed into the building.
Specification – By cladding this building in composite panels, and installing doors to the building, the project has opened this building up to a much wider variety of different applications.

General Brief - Total refurbishment of an existing portal frame warehouse building, including a two bay end extension and a raising of the existing roof level by 4 metres to give increased storage capacity.
